Alex Navas Álvarez
Law and Human Rights Volunteer
Alex is a Honduran lawyer and human rights activist and defender with a law expertise within human rights, security, defense, and anticorruption policies. He is a university professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), where he was also an alumni. Alex is a Legal Sciences graduate and holds a Master in State and Public Policies from UNAH; With advanced studies in human rights at the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies; Graduate of the Inter-American and International System of Protection of human rights by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and American University College of Law.
